Diamondback Development is owned and led by two brothers: Jay Shott, COO, who studied Marketing and Business at West Virginia Wesleyan University, and Drew Shott, CFO, who studied Accounting at Virginia Tech.
The brothers founded Diamondback Development in 2006. They’re proud to say they’ve learned their business from their dad, Mike Shott, who’s enjoyed a successful 40-year career in business. As President and CEO of Diamondback Property, Mike leads the family’s commercial real estate efforts. He also serves as Chairman of First Century Bankshares, Inc., the holding company for First Century Bank.
Diamondback Property Inc. is a subsidiary of Zip Properties, Inc., together they own and manage commercial and residential real estate and other investments in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
